Yasmin had been working for the same company for over ten years. She felt that she had progressed as much as she could in her current role and thought that it was time for a change. Having worked at the same place for much of her adult life she lacked the confidence to start applying for new jobs. Her experience was specific to her current role and Yasmin thought that she would need more varied work experience to be desirable to other potential employers. She came across pick of the people when searching for vacancies and filled in a profile. After a month or so she was contacted by a kitchen design & interiors business looking to employ a copy writer. The company noticed her passion for reading and poetry and were impressed by her creativity and attention to detail. She now works alongside a design team to produce blog posts, websites and print and is enjoying a fresh challenge. Her experience was specific to her current role and Yasmin thought that she would need more varied work experience to be desirable to other potential employers.
